The Prospectus
You have questions that deserve more than a Google search and less than a multi-month engagement. Office Hours is a focused 90-minute or 3-hour working session built entirely around the specific philanthropic challenge you bring to the table.
What You Build
Actionable next steps and a sharper perspective in one afternoon. Available via video chat.
How This Is Different
Not every breakthrough needs a process. Sometimes it just needs a Tuesday afternoon.
The Prospectus
Giving with intention becomes more expansive and more energizing when curious, like-minded people are exploring it alongside you. The Seminar is a 4 to 6 week small group experience built around a specific theme or issue area with weekly 75-minute sessions.
What You Build
Exploring the issues that matter most to you through a richer lens — with your new favorite people. Guest experts, facilitated discussions, and breakout conversations built in. For individuals or friend groups.
How This Is Different
Think of it as a warmup for your giving practice — no prerequisites, just curiosity and a willingness to find new angles alongside people figuring it out at the same time.
The Prospectus
The hardest thing about giving effectively isn't generosity — it's avoiding the pitfalls that can lead to philanthropy doing more harm than good. Without a clear conviction, giving becomes reactive, responding to acute needs instead of leading with purpose. The Semester is a guided experience where you develop a personal giving thesis rooted in your values and vision, supported by The Faculty — your handpicked brain trust of experts and thought leaders.
What You Build
Over 4 to 5 months, you'll develop a fully realized giving thesis and receive a curated portfolio of vetted organizations and projects to evaluate for funding. Available online or in person for NYC-area clients. For individuals or pairs.
Need to accelerate your giving? The Summer Session covers the same ground in 2 months.
Already know your "why"? The Placement finds your who. Available as a standalone service for clients who already have a thesis for giving and are ready to put it to work.
How This Is Different
It's not an old school how-to philanthropy course. This is a customized experience built around your values, your voice, and the impact only you can make.
The Prospectus
You have a thesis. Now you need the organizations. The Placement is a standalone sourcing and vetting service for clients who already know what they care about and are ready to put capital to work. We do the research. You make the call.
What You Build
A curated portfolio of vetted organizations, projects, and practitioners aligned with your giving criteria — across nonprofit, advocacy, and mission-driven sectors. Delivered with context and warm introductions.
How This Is Different
This isn't a database. Every recommendation is handpicked against your specific thesis. You get deal flow with judgment already applied.
The Prospectus
Some challenges need more than a few hours and less than a few months. The Clinic is a fully customized full-day or full-weekend in-person intensive where you dedicate focused, immersive time to a single meaningful goal with expert facilitation guiding every step.
What You Build
A defined plan, concrete next steps, and the decisions you came in needing to make — made. Delivered over a full day or full weekend, in person, for individuals or small teams.
How This Is Different
There's something that happens in a room of focused, committed people that a calendar full of meetings simply can't achieve. The Clinic is designed entirely from scratch around your specific ambition — no templates, no off-the-shelf curriculum.
The Prospectus
The most ambitious philanthropic work defies categorization. The Independent Study is shaped entirely by your vision, your timeline, and the work you want to do.
